Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking any travel services with Journey 2 Bharat.

1. Introduction & Scope

Journey2Bharat operates as a travel intermediary facilitating reservations with independent airlines, accommodation providers, transport operators, cruise lines, and tour organizers. By confirming a reservation through Journey2Bharat, the customer acknowledges and accepts the terms set forth below.

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and services, including all bookings, reservations, and transactions made through Journey2Bharat. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.

2. Contractual Relationship

Upon receipt of the required payment and issuance of a confirmation invoice, a legally binding agreement is established between the traveler and the respective service provider(s). Journey2Bharat is not a principal supplier of travel services and assumes no contractual responsibility for the performance of such services.

We act solely as an intermediary connecting you with third-party service providers including airlines, hotels, transport operators, and tour organizers. Any disputes regarding service delivery must be addressed directly with the respective service provider.

3. Authority to Book

The individual completing the booking confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and have authorization to act on behalf of all travelers included in the reservation. This individual accepts responsibility for communicating all booking terms, conditions, and travel requirements to the entire group.

By making a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete, and you accept these terms on behalf of all travelers listed in the reservation.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are subject to revision prior to final confirmation due to factors including but not limited to supplier rate adjustments, currency fluctuations, taxation changes, or fuel surcharges. Full or partial advance payment may be required depending on the product booked.

Payment Methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • Net Banking & UPI
  • Bank Transfer / NEFT / RTGS
  • Digital Wallets

Note: Credit card transactions are subject to a processing surcharge of 2%. All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

5. Amendments and Cancellations

Requests for modifications are subject to approval by the relevant supplier and may incur administrative and supplier-imposed fees. Cancellation penalties may extend up to 100% of the booking value.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30+ days before departure: 10% cancellation fee + applicable supplier charges
  • 15-29 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee + applicable supplier charges
  • 7-14 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee + applicable supplier charges
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)
  • No-show: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)

Important: Group tours and fixed departures are generally non-refundable and non-changeable once confirmed. Some promotional packages and special offers may have stricter cancellation policies.

6. Supplier Responsibility

All airlines, hotels, transport providers, and tour operators are solely responsible for delivering the services booked. Journey2Bharat shall not be liable for service deficiencies, operational disruptions, schedule changes, or other acts or omissions of third-party providers.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes
  • Hotel overbooking or service quality issues
  • Transport breakdowns or accidents
  • Tour itinerary modifications by local operators
  • Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings

7. Travel Documentation

Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring possession of valid passports, visas, and any required permits. Journey2Bharat may provide visa assistance without guaranteeing approval. No liability is accepted for losses resulting from visa denial or delays.

Required Documents:

  • Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel (for international tours)
  • Visa: Appropriate visa for destination country (where applicable)
  • ID Proof: Government-issued photo identification for domestic travel
  • Travel Insurance: Recommended for all travelers, mandatory for certain destinations

8. Force Majeure

Journey2Bharat shall not be held accountable for failure to fulfill obligations where such failure arises from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, health emergencies, transportation disruptions, strikes, acts of terrorism, or other unforeseen events.

In such cases, we will work with service providers to minimize disruption, but refunds and compensation are subject to the policies of the respective suppliers.

9. Limitation of Liability

Journey2Bharat's liability is strictly limited to cases of proven negligence in its role as an intermediary. Claims relating to injury, illness, loss, delay, or service failure must be directed to the respective service provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Journey2Bharat shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, or disappointment
  • Any damages exceeding the total booking amount paid
  • Injuries, accidents, or medical expenses during travel

10. Complaints and Claims

Any service-related concern must be raised promptly with the supplier during travel and reported to Journey2Bharat at the earliest opportunity to allow resolution.

Procedure for Complaints:

  • Immediately notify the service provider (hotel, tour guide, transport operator)
  • Contact Journey2Bharat's 24/7 support helpline within 24 hours
  • Submit written complaint with supporting evidence within 7 days of the incident
  • Allow reasonable time for investigation and resolution

Failure to follow this procedure may limit our ability to assist with resolution or claims.

11. Data Usage and Privacy

Personal information may be shared with suppliers for booking purposes. Journey2Bharat may also use contact details for communication and promotional outreach unless the customer opts out.

12. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers and is mandatory for certain destinations. Insurance should cover:

  • Medical emergencies and evacuation
  • Trip cancellation and interruption
  • Baggage loss or delay
  • Personal liability
  • Travel delays

Journey2Bharat can assist with travel insurance arrangements upon request. Travelers are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage before departure.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All matters arising from bookings made through Journey2Bharat shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Patna, Bihar.

By making a booking with us, you consent to this jurisdiction and waive any objection based on venue or forum non conveniens.

14. Amendment of Terms

Journey2Bharat reserves the right to revise these terms at any time. Updated terms shall apply to future bookings. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.

The most current version of these terms will always be available on our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
